We’ve partnered with the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) to launch a smart parking platform for those seeking parking across downtown Chattanooga.
In partnership with CARTA, we are shortly to launch our comprehensive curb management and parking guidance platform for the Chattanooga city center. The free solution provides a host of benefits to users across the board—not only to transportation administrators, but also to locals and visitors who often find themselves circling for parking or frustrated by the lack of clear parking options.
Users can access the CARTA Parking Finder—a web app offering personalized, up-to-the-minute parking guidance 24 hours a day—from their smartphone, laptop or any web-accessible device, without the need for download or signup. A user simply enters their destination, desired arrival time, and relevant filters such as free or validated parking, and are instantly shown options tailored to their needs. Parking locations are visually overlaid on a familiar Google Maps interface, with features allowing users to check real-time parking availability, rates by zone (via ParkMobile, Passport, CivicSmart, and Flowbird integrations), bike share hubs, shuttle stops, and more.
Beneath the surface, the CARTA Parking Finder is powered by a comprehensive digital twin of Chattanooga’s on and off-street parking assets, fully digitized and structured to support accurate planning and management. CARTA administrators utilize Modii’s Administration Dashboard to dynamically manage regulations, push public alerts, monitor trends, and guide policy using predictive analytics and real-time demand forecasts via Modii’s Parking Intelligence Dashboard.
